“The Greatest Spectacle of the Southern Beaches” is a fantastic slogan that explains, in a convincing way, the image given by this major sport event.
The Horse Races are held every year in August. There are two cycles of three days each, always in the evening and taking advantage of the ample shore left by the low tide on the beach.
With more than 165 editions on its back, they are the oldest equestrian activities in Spain and one of the oldest ones in Europe. They have been declared of International Tourist Interest since 1997.
The organizer of the Horse Races on the beach is the Horse Riding Society of Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
Their contact details are the following: Las Piletas Avenue, no number. 11540 Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Telephone: 956 363 202. firstname.lastname@example.org
