Sanlúcar is part of the denomination of origin “Jerez-Xerez-Sherry y Manzanilla de Sanlúcar de Barrameda”, and produces an ample range of wines.
The Manzanilla wine is the unarguable protagonist. It is a dry wine appropriate for aperitifs, with a beautiful golden colour, which is kept in white oak barrels in Sanlúcar´s wine cellars where in the shade and with the help of the light sea breeze, it reaches its characteristic flavour with the passing of time.
It is inexcusable not to visit one of these beautiful old “bodegas” which keep in their interior the mystery of the creation of these wines. Other wines elaborated in Sanlúcar are: Amontillado, Oloroso, Palo Cortado, Moscatel, Cream, Brandy and Punch.
