The ship ‘Real Fernando’ recalls in its appearance and its name the first steamboat that crossed the mouth of the Guadalquivir river carrying goods and passengers. Nowadays, it carries out an itinerary that starts from Sanlúcar and takes a tour of the environmental environment of our city.
The crossing begins in Bajo de Guía, and along it explains the Guadalquivir River and the Doñana Natural Area. Disembark at “El Poblado de la Plancha”, within the Doñana National Park, with an approximate one-hour stop where you take a pedestrian and guided tour to visit the pine shacks, the “Llanos de Velázquez” and the “Llanos de la Plancha ”, places of frequent influx of fauna. The ship ends its journey again in Bajo de Guía.
