During the month of September, the 'Círculo de Artesanos' of Sanlúcar de Barrameda has designed a program of activities to celebrate the monumental feat achieved by the Magellan-Elcano expedition—which set out in search of the Spice Islands and culminated in the first circumnavigation of the globe, with Sanlúcar de Barrameda serving as both the starting and ending point.
